Daniel Osorio President and Founder, Andean Capital Advisors CNBC
Venezuelan debt restructuring unlocks capital markets.
Venezuelan defaulted sovereign and oil-company bonds are a restructuring opportunity. The bonds already rallied sharply after Maduro's ouster; once restructured, Venezuela should regain access to international debt capital markets, borrow to restart the economy, and allow oil companies to invest in exchange for a favorable revenue share. Dollar-denominated bonds should reset as the currency and economy improve.
